Requirements:
- USB-to-HDMI adapter (or a lapdock)
- A compatible device that supports video output
- Special permissions via ADB (Advanced Debug Bridge)
Setup Instructions:
- Open Taskbar and click “Desktop mode.”
- Check the box to enable desktop mode; follow the on-screen instructions for setup.

Freeform Window Mode (Android 7.0+)
Launch apps in freeform floating windows without requiring root access on Android 7.0+ devices.
Setup Instructions:
- Enable “Freeform window support” in the Taskbar app.
- Follow the on-screen directions for one-time setup.
- Clear all recent apps from your device.
- Start The app and select an app to launch it in a freeform window.

Taskbar includes an optional accessibility service to perform system button actions (back, home, recents, and power) and display the notification tray. This service is strictly for these actions and does not collect any user data or access the Internet.
