APK file
• The copyright of applications sent via Send Anywhere belongs to the application developer. If sharing an APK file conflicts with current copyright laws, all responsibility rests with the user.
• Generally, you will not be able to share APK files between OS and Android. Check with the application developer first before cross-platform transfers.
Video files
• Depending on the type of video received, the video may not be posted in the phone gallery. In this case, using a file management application will play the video.
• If you are unable to play the received videos, please download a different video player compatible with the video format.

To make the most of Send Anywhere’s convenient file sharing service, we ask for the user permissions listed below
• Write internal memory (required): to archive the files located in the internal memory via ‘Send anywhere’
• Read internal memory (required): to send files stored in the internal memory via Send Anywhere.
• Location Access: To share files using Wi-Fi Direct or via the nearby Google API (Bluetooth may be turned on to find and identify nearby devices, so may require Bluetooth permissions.)
• Write external memory: to store the files received via Send Anywhere in an external memory (SD card).
• Read external storage: to send files stored in external storage via Send Anywhere.
• Read contacts: to send the contacts stored in the phone.
• Camera: to be able to receive files via a QR code.
