Description

Remotely and securely unlock your Windows PC using your Android’s fingerprint sensor.

For the application to work, you need to install the Fingerprint Credential Provider module on your Windows PC (Windows Vista / 7/8/10), which you can find here.

If you missed the PRO update after reinstalling, need help setting up your account or Wake on Lan, or any other issues you might encounter, be sure to check the F.A.Q.

The module only works when the login screen is active, therefore, to connect the computer, add an account, etc., simply lock the computer (Windows key + L or from the Start menu).

How to use the app:

First, make sure you have installed the Windows module found at the link above.
Go to the Scan menu (make sure your computer is on the login screen) and pull to update (use Wi-Fi) or hit the Add button and use your preferred unlock method.
Select your computer and press Save.
Now go to the Accounts menu, tap on the computer’s 3-dot menu button and then Add Account. Enter the Windows account you want to unlock. Use the display name exactly as on the lock screen (case-sensitive, including the domain name if you are using a domain account), along with the corresponding password. Scan your fingerprint and press Add.
For PRO users: To select one of the added accounts as default, tap the 3-dot menu button, then select Set as default.
To set up a computer, tap that computer’s 3-dot menu button.
For PRO users: To enable Wake on Lan, go to the computer configuration menu and enable Send WoL Package. Make sure the MAC address is correct!
You are now ready! Go to the Unlock menu and scan your fingerprint. You should now see your computer unlocked.

Characteristics:

• Log in / Unblock an account
• Simple and intuitive user interface
• Safe
• Local / Microsoft / domain account support *
• Light / Dark / Black UI Themes (AMOLED compatible).
• Local network / Bluetooth / Wi-Fi tethering / USB tethering support

* Windows module version 1.2.0 is required. Usage: When adding an account via the Android app, simply add the full account name, including the domain, separated by a slash (”). For example: testaccount.name

PRO features:

• Removal of ads
• Computers and unlimited computer accounts
• Wake-On-Lan
• Unlock widgets
• Startup shortcuts
• More planned features

Being built with safety in mind, the app:

• Can be used securely on a public network: all data sent is encrypted.
• Encrypts information stored on the user’s computer using a unique key that identifies the app installation.
• Does not store any passwords in the Android app.
• Prevents attackers from accessing your computer as well: If an attacker knows your PIN and adds their fingerprint, the app is immediately notified and automatically invalidates its key, which causes the app information to be lost forever private stored.

Future Updates:

• Locking a computer (next!)
• Linux support (scheduled operation after lockout)

Make sure you allow inbound and outbound traffic (both TCP and UDP) in the firewall for the LogonUI.exe process located in C: WindowsSystem32. You will be asked during installation if you want this to happen automatically for you if you are using Windows Firewall.

Please check the F.A.Q. for more tips and troubleshooting questions or email me if you have any questions about the app.

What's new

1.6.3 improvements:

Option to auto-match device light/dark theme
Custom WiFi Tethering Gateway IP option
Option to always send WoL packet to the specified IP for Direct IP method, regardless of device's connection (Data/WiFi)

Previously, 1.6.0 greatly improved security when using the app on public WiFi networks. For this, v1.3.0 of the Windows app is required. You can update by using the Windows module's download link in the description or by locking your computer and checking for updates.
