This app provides forecasts, animated radar, hourly forecasts and current conditions, all in an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. Just the information you need, delivered accurately, quickly, and for your exact location.

This app uses the NOAA point forecast from your GPS position to get the most localized weather available. Point forecasts are ideal for rock climbing, hiking, skiing, or any outdoor activity where the weather in a nearby town is not accurate enough.
GPS on the phone will provide the most accurate location, but is usually not necessary. Nearby cell phone towers and Wi-Fi networks can also provide this information and will be checked first to save time and battery. You can also enter a location manually.
To provide highly localized forecasts, this app uses point forecasts from the National Weather Service (NOAA / NWS) and therefore is only available in the United States.
If there is severe weather, it will show at the top of the forecast. This app does NOT currently support severe weather alerts or notifications. NOAA provides this service directly through mobile phone operators. You can read more about the service at https://www.weather.gov/wrn/wea.
There are also several different sized widgets available that can be placed on your home screen to provide basic weather information, without needing to open the app.

Authorization: location
This app requires your location to provide you with the most accurate weather. This is fundamental for the functioning of the application. You can always add manual locations if you prefer.
Authorization: Photos / Media / Files
This permission is required by Google Maps so that it can cache the map tiles for faster loading. Looks like the app is doing something with your photos or media, but it isn’t. Authorization means that the app is allowed to access your files (which include photos and media), but does not mean that they are actually accessible. It’s a subtle but important distinction.
