In particular, I worked on the visualization of the strength of the Wi-Fi and mobile signal. They were given special importance. Normally they are only divided into weak, good, and excellent signals. Graphically, there are mostly “only” three to five bars displayed as a mobile signal and three “waves” displayed as a Wi-Fi connection.
My app differentiates the signal strength into a total of 14 bars. This will give you quick and detailed information on your signal strength.
In addition to the more sophisticated graphical representation of signal strength, you will also be able to see more interesting information.
In addition, a logging function in csv file format is available for wireless and mobile signal strength (eg Excel import).
With “Mobile signal”:
Network operators, sim provider, phone type, network type, network power in dbm and ASU, data status, data activity, mobile phone country code, device ID, IP address (internal and external ), roaming state.
In “Wi-Fi signal”:
Wi-Fi Name (SSID), BSSID, MAC Address, Maximum Wi-Fi Speed, IP Address, External IP Address, Network Capacity, Network Channel, Subnet Mask, Gateway IP Address, DHCP Server Address, Address DNS1 and DNS2.
