“IMPORTANT NOTE”
This app was designed for AMOLED, OLED screens. It will work on all screens like LCD or IPS, but may consume more battery on those type of devices. This is because AMOLED, OLED turn off black pixels while LCD, IPS do not.
“DISPLAYING THE NAVIGATION BAR”
SAMSUNG
If you get this message when this app activates on your lock screen “Touch input is blocked”, go to your device’s Settings -> Display and uncheck/disable/disable “Block accidental touches”. This will allow the app to work as expected and not show the navigation bar at the bottom or give you that warning again; WQHD+ resolution setting is also recommended.
Huawei
If you see the navigation buttons on the always-on display, go to your device settings and look for acci and Mistouch prevention off.
“APP NOT WORKING”
Sometimes your Android device will decide to terminate App Service randomly; To avoid this, check if your device has a battery manager and disable battery optimization for Mi Display.

* If you have trouble finding battery optimization; Try searching for “Battery optimization” in your Android settings.
** General Devices **
1. Go to your device settings.
2. Apps and notifications.
3. Special access to the app.
4. Battery Optimization.
5. Select the down arrow at the top and choose “All Apps”.
6. Select Mi displays.
7. Select Do not optimize.
** Specific Devices **
Huawei
1. Open the battery settings of your Huawei smartphone.
2. Access the app launch settings on your Huawei.
3. Find Mi Display and turn off the switch to “Manage manually”. You’ll immediately see a message asking what kind of activity you want to allow the app to perform. To eliminate all problems, it’s a good idea to select all modes such as “Autostart”, “Secondary startup” and “Run in background”.
Xiaomi
1. Open the Settings menu on your Xiaomi device.
2. Tap Battery & performance from Settings.
3. Tap Manage app battery usage.
4. Tap Choose apps from Manage apps battery usage.
5. Tap Installed Apps and choose Mi Display.
6. Touch No restrictions.
OnePlus
1. Open Settings on your OnePlus device and tap Advanced.
2. Tap Recent apps manager.
3. Tap Clear Normal to clear the task list and cache without clearing the background process.
4. Lock Mi Display in recent apps.
SAMSUNG
1. Go to your device’s Settings.
2. Search Optimize battery usage.
3. Select All Apps from the dropdown menu.
4. Move the switch to the off position for Mi Display to auto-optimize.
