Disclaimer:
– This is an advanced app with some features specific to only some devices/providers. Many thanks to the community for the support and the questions and feedback.
– “Best signal available” does not mean that this app can show LTE or 5G where there is none. There is no such thing as an “LTE signal booster” app, what actually happens is it forces the device to re-search for the best signal instead of staying connected to an older, possibly outdated connection.
– Not all devices/carriers are supported for LTE bands and other advanced signal data. These are limitations of those devices.
– Currently the in-app map is only used to display the current location. Though Sprint + Pro users may have more features. Support for more carriers is currently under active development.
– Verizon sometimes gives tower locations from user reports, but these are usually inaccurate.

Resetting the cellular connection can fix many common network-related issues such as: continuous low signal, data connection, poor call quality, signal instability, and more. You can also fix these issues by restarting/rebooting your phone, or you can let LTE Discovery reset your radios in a few seconds. But better signal quality is not guaranteed, especially if you are in a carrier zone with little coverage.
