No app permissions, but all options for you!
The Keyboard Designer is a full keyboard that can be used in all apps. It gives you the freedom to customize them, design a new keyboard yourself, or after purchasing the extended design package, import predefined keyboards. Not only can you change the colors, but you can also freely arrange the keys and assign functions to them.
This app doesn’t require network access, so all data stays on your device!
Tip: The smartwatch keyboard cannot be changed on the smartwatch, use your connected mobile device to do so and sync it with your smartwatch!
A keyboard must meet the following requirements:
1. No Internet connection
A keyboard is used to enter very private data such as passwords. For this reason, a keyboard should not require an Internet connection. This is the only way to ensure that no data can be sent from the device! Contacts or similar private data must also not be accessible from the keyboard. This means: no app permissions!
2. Individual adjustments
The keyboard is the most used app on a mobile device. Therefore it must be perfectly adaptable to the user’s needs! The position of the keys, size, labels, colors and borders define the appearance. By assigning a powerful function the user can enter text very quickly. So with this app you can make the keyboard as you need. This means: all options for you!
3. Easy to use
Since the screen size is very small, entering text is not easy. The functions present and their intelligent accessibility allow them to be used even in difficult conditions (walking with a mobile device in one hand and coffee in the other) or for the handicapped. An edit bar shows the entered letters in a huge way and allows you to manipulate them directly. If it is not obvious which key was pressed, a resized view of the keyboard with large keys is shown. And if you want to make changes to the keyboard, you can press a key to open the designer and make it that way!
4. Speed
A keyboard must react very quickly to pressing a key, otherwise errors are the logical consequence. This app does not use the functions to implement a keyboard provided by the system, but it shows all the keys in a graph. If you touch a key, the assigned function is sent to the editor. It is very fast thanks to this simplified structure.
After installation some sample models are shown. They already contain all the necessary keys and can be used or modified (for example to add your own special characters such as umlauts, glyphs, change the duration of the pressed keys or create large keys). It is also possible to make completely new designs.
