Color Picker – application for selecting color from camera or photo with many additional features.
Recognize color from multiple color palettes. The application database contains more than 1000 entries of the most popular color palettes: popular colors, RAL Classic, HTML (W3C), Material Design and others. Not sure which palette to choose? Use the general “Common Colors” palette, which contains the most popular colors.
dynamic range. Simply drag the screen to change the scale size. You can quickly identify the center point color or the average color of the entire selected area. Three range shapes are available: circle, square, and point. If a circle is selected, the average color is really only calculated from the pixels inside the circle.
View scientific color data. Click on the lab flask icon to enter expert mode. Displays the color temperature (in degrees Kelvin), the color’s location on the optical spectrum, the color value in different color models (RGB, CMYK, HSV, and others), and the degree of color match ( percentage) with the most similar color from the selected color palette. Unnecessary items in expert mode can be disabled in settings.
Advanced camera settings. Select color more precisely by manually adjusting focus mode, white balance, and other camera settings.
Recognize color in images. Open the image and select/save the desired color on any part of the image. You can send the image to the application via the system “Share” dialog. All standard gestures for working with the image are supported.
Work with saved colors. The saved colors can be edited, by sending the HEX value of the selected colors via the “Share” system dialog, or by importing/exporting all colors in CSV format.
Search and browse colors in the database. Thanks to the search by HEX value or by color name, you will quickly find the desired color in the database. You can send any text to the application, to search the database, through the system “Share” dialog.
Don’t give an opinion. Color samples may vary significantly from originals due to color conversion. All colors are for informational purposes only. Do not use these values anywhere color matching is required with high precision.
