If you get this message when activating this app from the lock screen “Touch input is blocked”, please go to your device Settings -> Display and turn off/off/disable “Block accidental touch”. This will allow the app to work as intended and not show your bottom navigation bar or give you that warning again; Also, the WQHD+ resolution setting is recommended.

If you see the navigation buttons on the always-on display, go to your device’s settings and look for ACC and Disabled Mistouch Prevention.
“APP DOES NOT WORK”
Sometimes your Android device randomly decides to terminate the app service; To avoid this, check if your device has a battery manager and disable battery optimization for AOA.
* If your device is not in the list below, please do a Google search for “stop background service apps (Add your device name)”.
* If you are having trouble finding battery optimization; Try searching for “Battery Optimization” in your Android settings.

1. Go to device settings.
2. Apps and notifications.
3. Special app access.
4. Battery optimization.
5. Select the down arrow at the top and choose “All apps”.
6. Select AOA.
7. Select Don’t Optimize.
** Specific devices **
huawei
1. Open the battery settings of your Huawei smartphone.
2. Open the app launch settings on your Huawei.
3. Find AOA and turn off the switch to ‘Manually manage’. You will immediately see a prompt asking you what kind of activities you want the app to perform. To solve all the problems, it is a good idea to select all modes, such as “Automatic start”, “Secondary start” and “Run in background”.
Xiaomi
1. Open the Settings menu on your Xiaomi device.
2. In Settings, tap Battery and performance.
3. Tap Manage apps battery usage.
4. Tap Choose apps in Manage apps battery usage.
5. Tap Installed apps and choose AOA.
6. Tap No restrictions.
OnePlus
1. Open the Settings on your OnePlus device and tap Advanced.
2. Tap Recent app management.
3. Tap Normal Clear to clear the task list and cache without clearing the background process.
4. Lock AOA in recent apps.
Samsung
1. Go to device settings.
2. Look for Optimize battery usage.
3. Select All apps from the drop-down menu.
4. Turn the switch to the off position so that AOA is not automatically optimized.
