Andronix allows you to install Linux system on your Android device without root.
-
How does this work?
Andronix uses PRoot to run your favorite Linux distribution on your Android devices.
Andronix uses Termux as a terminal for the Andronix operating system.
-
What can you do with Andronix?
Pretty much anything you love to do. Linux containers are limited by the lack of full Linux kernel support, SELinux policies
your Android versions, your CPU architecture and your device hardware. We have users who are replacing their actual laptops
and computers with Andronix. If you are looking for something that can support web browsing, coding, or anything else that
does not burden your phone hardware, you can use Andronix without any problem.
You don’t have to worry about multi-booting your system which means you can have all operating systems unmodified and modified.
installed at once, all 12 OS at once, since you have the storage for it. Install as many as you want, uninstall them
once you have finished.
-
How can I access it?
Linux containers provided by Andronix can be accessed through a
CLI (Command Line Interface) as we would with an SSH connection to a remote system, a GUI (Graphical User
Interface) with various desktop environments such as LXQt, Xfce and LXDE and finally, GUI
powered by window managers like Awesome, i3 and Openbox.

It’s free?
Yes! Andronix APK is completely ad-free and all distributions unmodified and free to use as much as you want.
On the other hand, Modded OS is chargeable but is very economical since it is a lifetime purchase with an unlimited number.
installs on an unlimited number of devices.
You can also get Andronix Premium which is another way to support developers. You also get a few benefits, including
online synchronization with Andronix commands and a web application to access it from any device of your choice.
-
Are we open source?
Yes and no. Andronix is partially open-source. All free distribution tar files and shell scripts are available on our
GitHub repository. While all paid things like the current Android app and all files about Andronix Modded
Operating systems are closed sources for apparent reasons.
That’s not to say that we don’t like open source; we open-source. So if you are a developer or maintainer of a
open-source project, we will be more than happy to provide you with everything for free for life. Just contact us
and complete the verification process😊.
