Notification volume
– If the notification panel is enabled and the split of ringtone and notification is supported by the system, the ringtone and notifications are independent, if the notification panel is hidden, both streams are linked and follow the ringtone volume.
NOTE: Button mapping apps like Button Mapper or Bixby Button Re-mapper can interfere if volume button customization is enabled, you can override it by launching the volume panel from the button mapper and assigning Vol +/- shortcuts.

* Notification Listener Access – Detect audio broadcast.
* Overlay Permissions – Show the panel as a system overlay.

Despite the Android system’s generic warning for all accessibility services, the Volume Control Panel Accessibility Service does not capture or store any information, it just listens for pressing the volume +/- buttons.
The volume control panel does not collect, store or share any personal information, it does not even connect to the internet !.
