Vocalizer is a built-in TTS engine that provides expressive and natural voices in over 50 languages.

– Each voice can be purchased through a simple In-App purchase process. The app includes a 7 day trial to test voices.
– Recent updates to Google apps force the use of their own voices. GPS apps (maps) or AI assistant ignore text-to-speech settings and only allow Google TTS. This move by Google was strongly discouraged by the Android community, but at this time we cannot guarantee the compatibility of these applications. As an alternative, you can use Vocalizer voices on other GPS applications like “Navigator” or “Sygic”, which are compatible with Google Speech APIs.

Once the app is installed on your device, you can make Vocalizer your default Text-to-Speech engine by going to Settings> (System)> Language & input> (Advanced)> Text-to-Speech output, and checking “Vocalizer TTS” as the default / preferred engine.
