Description

LectureRecordings is an Android app for recording audio, mainly while taking handwritten notes using LectureNotes.

It is designed with a university (or school) user in mind, such as a teacher who uses it to record their lecture while teaching using LectureNotes (writing on the device and projecting screen content for the audience) or a student who use to record lecture audio while taking handwritten notes during a lecture. However, it has many potential applications outside of university, for example in business or technology.

Its main target devices are tablets with Android 3.0 or later.

NOTE: While this app can be used on its own, it is primarily intended to act as an extension for LectureNotes and is best used in conjunction with it. If you want to record audio while taking handwritten notes, launch LectureNotes and start audio recording from there, the audio files will be stored in the corresponding notebook directory.

User Feedback:

We’d love to hear from you, send us feedback and feature requests by email. If you encounter a problem with the app, please email us and we will do our best to resolve it quickly.

Main features:

– only requires minimal permissions and no internet connection (we respect your privacy!)
– allows you to record and play audio signals
– allows you to record lectures (and other audio cues) synchronously while taking handwritten notes using LectureNotes (requires LectureNotes installation)
– allows you to play lectures (or other recorded audio cues) synchronously along with handwritten notes taken using LectureNotes (requires LectureNotes installation)

See the help page https://www.acadoid.com/apps/lr/help/ for more details.

Possible Problem: For good audio quality, it is recommended to use an external microphone, especially when taking notes with a stiff-tipped stylus in parallel (the noise that the tip causes on the device display and human voices have the same frequency gamma and the former cannot be reliably filtered out).
